Swedish Catena AB specialises in developing, owning and leasing efficient logistics facilities. The company has established a 280,000-square-metre logistics hub in Tostarp, east of Helsingborg. CSK has supplied structural steel to several construction projects here, including for an 18,300 m2 package and general cargo terminal for Postnord Sverige.

Like the rest of the world, Sweden is experiencing rapid growth in e-commerce. This trend is leading to correspondingly rapid growth in the number of packages handled, and a growing need for efficient facilities.

For this reason, Postnord Sverige will open a new terminal for sorting packages and handling general cargo in summer 2020. The terminal is being built by Catena AB in east Helsingborg, close to the E6 motorway.

CSK has supplied and installed the load-bearing steel structures for the 18,300 m2 terminal, as well as three staircases for the project. The total delivery came to approx. 710 tonnes of steel.
